Verto Living operate a strict confidentiality policy which means that we will not disclose or share information outside of our organisation without your permission.

Any information we hold about you will be stored electronically on a secure system.

We follow strict guidelines of confidentiality and we can can assure you that we will always protect your best interests and respect everything you say. 

We would only break confidentiality if we believe you will cause harm to yourself or to someone else.

How we use your information     

Verto Living take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the support services you have requested from us. 

The information we need

Verto Living CIC are the ‘controller’ of all the personal data you provide to us. Our Company Registration Number is 13532552. Registered Office is The Hope Centre, Vauxhall Street, Hillfields, Coventry, CV1 5LF. 

What we need and why we need it

By the very nature of the services we offer, and in order to provide you with a basic level of support we need to know the following ‘personal’ and ‘sensitive personal’ data about you including:

If the level of support requested by you changes we may need to know additional information which could include:

If you do not provide us with the information requested it may be that we will be unable to provide the support your require. We will inform you immediately if this is the case. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide the support services we have agreed to provide you with. 

What we do with your information 

All the personal data we hold about you will be processed by Verto Living staff (or agencies contracted to deliver our services) and no third parties will have access to your personal and sensitive data unless you consent to us sharing the information or there is a legal obligation for us to do so, as per the circumstances below : 

| A child is at risk of abuse or neglect | There is risk of physical harm to another adult |
| A vulnerable adult is at risk of abuse | You are at risk of serious self-harm |
| Verto Living CIC is forced by a court order to divulge this information |
| It is absolutely necessary to maintain Verto Living reputation for the benefit of everyone |   
 

Your personal data will be stored on a cloud-based system whose servers are located in the European Union (for further information please contact us) however we take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is processed securely. 

It is easy for you to withdraw your consent at any time you just need to contact a member of staff by phone, e-mail or post.
Please remember that withdrawing your consent at any time doesn’t mean that you can’t access our services again in the future. 

How long we keep your information for

We keep your personal data for a minimum of 12 months after you have disengaged with our service, after which time it will be destroyed if it is no longer required for the lawful purpose(s) for which it was obtained.

 Your individual rights and entitlements 

You have the right to obtain the personal data processed by Verto Living on your behalf along with any supplementary information held by us in order that you can be aware of and verify the lawfulness of our processing.

The information will be provided free of charge and within one month of your request.  You also have the right for any inaccurate personal data held by Verto Living CIC to be rectified accordingly.

In certain circumstances your personal data maybe erased, or restrictions imposed and you also have the right to object to the way your data is being processed.
